Background
The Sharpness New Docks No.4 dredger is now owned and operated by the National Waterways Museum, Gloucester. This recording shows No.4 dredging mud from Gloucester Docks basin and filling a mud boat for the first time in many years.

Now forms part of the extended Compilation No. 25: "SND No.4 Steam Dredger", which also includes former compilation 25b.
