Views of the abandoned Victoria Level of the Sygun copper mine in 1982, before work started on the museum project, are followed by a brief underground tour of this excellent mining museum, shortly after it opened to the public in March 1986.
Sygun mine, set in the beautiful Welsh mountain scenery of Snowdonia, is where the froth flotation method of mineral separation was first used commercially.
