Background

Our Products - available on discAn archive that nobody can see might as well not exist! To enable our recordings to reach as many people as possible we have made some of the best material from I.A.Recordings archives available on DVD and Blu-ray™.

This material is available as:

Industrial History productionsProductions - Our Productions are fully-edited TV programmes with explanatory commentary, graphics and captions; making them suitable for more general audiences. Productions will interest anybody who cares about our industrial heritage or who would like to know more about industrial processes.

Visit the Productions page >>

Industrial Heritage CompilationsCompilations - Compilations are aimed at the enthusiast who does not want to miss anything. They may be 18 or 180 minutes long, but they are not edited to length just to make an entertaining show. We leave in as much relevant material as possible after taking out repeats, bad takes and irrelevant setting-up footage, and present it in a logical order.

What remains is as complete a record of an event or process as possible, too comprehensive and intense for a general audience, but ideal for the dedicated industrial history specialist or researcher. A few compilations are enhanced by the addition of some commentary and graphics.

Visit the Compilations page >>

Industrial History co-productionsCo-productions - Just like our Productions: fully-edited TV programmes on industrial heritage subjects with explanatory commentary, graphics and captions - but these are made in conjunction with another organisation such as 'Sight Seen Partnerships'.

A to Z Video ArchiveIndustrial History Video Archive - The main subjects in our industrial archaeology video archive are listed in alphabetical subject heading order in the A-Z Index.
